This ensures the correct products and quantities are available when work begins while saving you the time and hassle of coordinating materials yourself.

How is the price of my landscaping project determined?

Accepted Answer

Every project is priced according to its actual scope, not simply by square footage or an hourly rate. Your quote may account for materials, site access, preparation and removal work, disposal, equipment needs, installation time, and the difficulty of the property. You’ll receive a written quote describing the included work so you know exactly what you’re paying for before the project begins.

Why is a deposit required?

Accepted Answer

A deposit allows Redbird Lawn and Landscape to reserve time on the schedule and purchase the materials specifically needed for your project. It protects both parties by confirming that the work, pricing, and scheduling have been approved. The deposit is applied toward your total balance, it is not an additional charge.

What could affect my project’s scheduled date or completion time?

Accepted Answer

Landscaping work is affected by weather, soil conditions, material availability, and unexpected conditions beneath the surface. Heavy rain or saturated ground may require a project to be postponed to avoid damaging your lawn or compromising the quality of the installation. If the schedule changes, Redbird will communicate with you and complete the work as soon as conditions allow.

What am I responsible for after new plants or grass are installed?

Accepted Answer

New plants, seed, and sod require consistent care after installation, especially proper watering. Redbird will explain the initial care your project needs, but ongoing watering and maintenance become the property owner’s responsibility unless a separate maintenance plan is included. Following those instructions is essential because weather, soil conditions, irrigation, animals, and homeowner care all affect how successfully living materials establish.

Do I need to be home while the work is being completed?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, you do not need to be home as long as Redbird has access to the work area and all project details have been approved beforehand. Gates should be unlocked, pets kept safely inside, and vehicles or other items moved when necessary. If a decision or unexpected condition comes up during the project, we will contact you before proceeding.

What should I do before my landscaping project begins?

Accepted Answer

Before the scheduled start date, please remove personal items, decorations, toys, hoses, and pet waste from the work area. Redbird must also be informed of any privately installed items that may not be marked by utility-locating services, including irrigation lines, invisible fences, landscape lighting wires, drainage pipes, or personally installed utilities.
